OJAR was founded by Sheikha Hind Bahwan, an Omani entrepreneur with an international background and a deep passion for perfumery. The brand name is derived from “Hojari,” one of the world’s finest types of frankincense, sourced from the Dhofar mountains of Oman. This connection forms the foundation of the brand’s identity.

The inspiration behind OJAR stems from personal memories of Sur, a coastal city where Sheikha Hind was first introduced to the rich olfactory traditions of Oman. These early experiences shaped her vision of creating a bridge between traditional Middle Eastern perfumery and modern global influences.

Since its launch, OJAR has quickly gained international recognition, representing high-quality niche fragrances with strong cultural roots.
