Prin Lomros is a self-taught perfumer from southern Thailand whose passion for scent began in childhood. Fascinated by his mother’s perfumes, he developed an early appreciation for fragrance. As no formal perfumery education was available in Thailand, he initially pursued another creative passion—filmmaking—and earned a degree in film.

A turning point came during a trip to France, when he visited Grasse while attending the Cannes Film Festival. There, he rediscovered his interest in perfumery and took short courses that reignited his desire to create fragrances. Back in Bangkok, he continued refining his craft at The Perfumer’s World.

He later founded his own brands—Pryn Parfum, Strangers Parfumerie, and Parfum Prissana—eventually объединed under the name PRIN. His distinctive style gained international recognition, earning him Art and Olfaction Awards in 2017 and 2018 and establishing him as one of Asia’s leading independent perfumers.

Lomros approaches perfumery like filmmaking. He begins with a vivid mental scene—complete with colors, textures, and atmosphere—and translates it into olfactory form. His work often reflects his cultural roots, incorporating elements such as temple incense and tropical ingredients.

His collaborations with Zoologist Perfumes highlight this cinematic approach. Bat recreates the humid, mysterious world of tropical caves and overripe fruit, while Civet explores bold, animalic intensity.

Fragrances like Hyrax and Rhinoceros further demonstrate his ability to evoke landscapes and emotions, from sun-scorched terrain to smoky, leathery depth. Each creation feels like a scene unfolding, immersing the wearer in a rich sensory narrative.
