Philippe Paparella-Paris discovered his passion for fragrance at the age of fifteen, inspired by the iconic perfumes in his mother’s collection, including Chanel No. 5 and Yves Saint Laurent’s Y. These early experiences in southern France shaped his aesthetic sensibility and set the foundation for an international career.

After studying natural sciences in Montpellier and specializing in perfumery at ISIPCA in Versailles, he began his professional journey with Mane. His career soon became global, taking him to Indonesia, where he explored tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, then to China, Dubai, and eventually Brazil, where he now works as a Senior Perfumer for Symrise.

These international experiences deeply influenced his creative approach. Exposure to diverse cultures expanded his olfactory vocabulary and allowed him to craft fragrances that resonate across different markets. His work blends scientific precision with artistic intuition, transforming abstract ideas into tangible emotional experiences.

In 2022, he was awarded the prestigious Prix François Coty, recognizing his outstanding contribution to modern perfumery and his ability to balance technical expertise with bold creativity.

Paparella-Paris is known for creating rich, sensual compositions, particularly in woody, amber, and musky accords. His fragrance Sintra transforms childhood memories into a refined gourmand scent featuring orange blossom, caramel, and vanilla.

His work with Oman Luxury highlights his versatility. Paramour showcases his mastery of leather compositions, blending raspberry and patchouli into a seductive oriental fragrance, while Overdose demonstrates his talent for fresh compositions enhanced with citrus and warm spices.
