Natasha Côté-Mouzannar is recognized as Canada’s only perfumer. Born in Québec and raised in Toronto, she grew up in a bilingual household that nurtured her appreciation for both French and English cultures. This multicultural upbringing, combined with a simple and happy childhood, shaped her sensitivity to diverse perspectives and her ability to capture meaningful moments through scent.

As a Senior Perfumer, she refined her craft under the mentorship of renowned perfumer Anne Flipo. Her creative approach focuses on achieving the perfect accord—where each element finds its place while maintaining its own distinct presence. She draws inspiration from everyday life: people, conversations, travel, cooking, and especially the wisdom of older generations, whose stories and experiences she deeply values.

Côté-Mouzannar’s portfolio spans both commercial and niche perfumery, including creations for brands such as Katy Perry and Natura. For Zoologist Perfumes, she composed Northern Cardinal, a refined chypre fragrance that reflects the bold and distinctive spirit of the iconic bird. Blending notes of bergamot, leather, and oakmoss, the fragrance captures both strength and elegance.

Her creations embody her belief in individuality and unity. Like the vivid plumage of the cardinal standing out against a winter landscape, her fragrances balance contrast and harmony. The result is a body of work that feels cohesive, expressive, and full of character.
