Hüseyin Erdoğmuş is one of the most prominent figures in Turkish perfumery. Growing up in Isparta, the country’s renowned rose region, he developed an early connection to scent through the omnipresent aroma of rose oil. These formative experiences laid the foundation for his future career.
After studying chemical engineering, he began working at Eyup Sabri Tuncer AS as a perfumer and production manager. From the start, he pursued ambitious goals, including the creation of synthetic rose oil, which strengthened his technical expertise.
In 1981, he founded EPS Fragrances, where he merged traditional perfumery knowledge with modern technology. His company became a pioneer in Turkey, introducing innovations such as GC-MS analysis and automated blending systems.
His philosophy, “Fragrance is life,” is reflected in his creations, which combine emotional depth with technical precision. His style often features oriental and woody compositions, frequently enriched with oud, resulting in fragrances with strong character.
