Camille Chemardin is part of a new generation of French perfumers shaping the niche fragrance landscape. A graduate of the prestigious ISIPCA school, she has quickly gained recognition for her distinctive style, particularly her affinity for gourmand compositions. Her career led her to Flair Paris, the independent fragrance studio founded by Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel, where creativity and collaboration are at the heart of the process.

Working within this dynamic team, Chemardin has refined her craft through close partnerships, resulting in notable creations for brands such as Sora Dora and Maison Matine. Among her most recognized works are Orchidée Rouge and Gladiator, co-created with Bourgeois and Behaghel. These collaborations highlight her ability to merge her own creative voice with the expertise of established perfumers.

Her olfactory signature often revolves around gourmand elements, with vanilla playing a key role. At the same time, she demonstrates impressive versatility, moving seamlessly between fresh, fruity, and floral compositions. Her inspirations range from travel to gastronomy, as seen in “Mandorle,” a fragrance inspired by Moroccan pastry.

One of her standout creations is Brocéliande, a multi-layered citrus-gourmand fragrance. Bright notes of lime, lemon, and bergamot evolve into a warm heart of caramel, rum, and vanilla, enriched by subtle animalic undertones, resulting in a complex and evolving scent.

With Kamel Oud, Chemardin explores oriental and woody territories, offering a refined and wearable interpretation of oud enhanced by spices such as cumin.

For Maison Matine, she co-created “Poom Poom” with Amélie Bourgeois, a fragrance that balances playfulness with sophistication. Her solo creation “Tu Te Calmes” further establishes her individual voice within the industry.
